Reader head brackets are provided but these may suit your machine, may need modifying to suit your machine, or completely new reader head brackets/mounts may have to be improvised. The JCXEP scales have reader heads that run along the aluminium extrusion of the linear measuring scales – although these are more expensive, in some locations these scales greatly simplify the installation as a simple push pull arm/rod is required to move the reader head along the linear measuring scale and a reader head bracket is not required. If you have doubts about your metal working skills, you should choose the option to have the scales installed. Installation covers travel to your site of upto 100 road miles from Nottingham. I will travel anywhere in the country to install these DRO kits, but obviously further expenses and costs are incurred when travelling further. Please contact me if you would like installation but are further than 100 miles. You can choose linear scales between 120mm measuring length and one meter measuring length. There are different styles of linear measuring scales to suit different machines. You can choose between the different styles of linear scales, there is no extra charge for slim scales JCXF or JCXE – only the JCXEP scale is ore expensive and the JCXEP scales are only available in 150mm, 200mm and 250mm measuring lengths. The Sinpo 3M is the 3-axis milling digital readout, the Sinpo 2M is the 2-axis milling digiital readout, and the Sinpo 2L is the 2-axis Lathe digital readout. The kits can also be fitted to Grinding machines or EDM sparc eroders. In this listing the price incluse scales in sizes upto 950mm. I have linear scales in stock in sizes upto 3000mm and magnetic tape for longer axis, but the cost rises steeply when measuring lengths rise above 1000mm – so I have to quote separately for linear scales with measuring lengths a meter or longer. Please contact me for longer scales and a separate listing would be created for the scale sizes you require. Most machines – for scale measuring lengths upto 950mm – will have standard section JCXE linear scales fitted – but often lathe cross slides and smaller milling machines, will have slim scales. The standard section linear scales are JCXE scales and are available from 150mm to 950mm – longer measuring lengths are available but at extra cost. The slim scales are available for this cost between 70mm and 320mm – again longer options are available at extra cost. I have a large variety of sizes and types of linear scales in stock, so can advice you on which type might fit your machine best.
